With over 20 years of experience Alajian Group founder, Armine Alajian is quickly becoming one of the top accountants in Los Angeles. Having graduated from California State University, Northridge she has experience in fintech startups, public accounting from a national CPA firm, was ranked in the top 10 public accounting firms in Los Angeles, private accounting for various corporations and business management for entertainment professionals. Armine continues to demonstrate exceptional leadership and organizational abilities balancing mixture between technical skills, special knowledge, and emotional intelligence. Those who work with Armine love how passionate she is about helping, problem solving and providing solution-based results, all while managing to put a strong emphasis on building accounting infrastructures, internal controls, financial reporting, and best practices. She strives to improve efficiency, automation, reporting, and reducing costs.

Alajian Group was founded on the shoulders of a woman who refused to take ‘No’ for an answer and continues to thrive on her determination to succeed in the accounting world.

After graduating with a BS in Finance from Boston College, Michael went on to work on Wall Street for more than 15 years primarily as a sell-side Equity Research Analyst. He has spent the last several years concentrating on personal investing and doing corporate finance and accounting for startup businesses. Michael is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a Certified Management Accountant and is a member of the New York Society of Securities Analysts and the Institute of Management Accountants. Michael and his wife Jenny recently moved to Atlantic Highlands, NJ following 8 years together in the NYC area, a brief stay in Los Angeles, California and two years in Denver, Colorado. Michael and Jenny have a one-year old son, Cullen, who is the light of their lives. They also have a well-traveled 9-year-old chocolate Lab named Haley, a lucky pup who has visited Hollywood, Aspen, and Vail and swam in both the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. In their spare time, this family loves to walk the beaches of the Jersey Shore and hike the many wooded trails around their home. They’re hoping their son will one day share their passion for skiing.

Lawrence has worked as a fractional CFO for over 90 start-ups / small businesses, helping launch or scale businesses with his strategic and financial acumen. Lawrence has helped raise over $150M in capital for clients and has also helped numerous clients with bootstrapping strategies. Lawrence works closely with clients building a financial model, helping them define benchmarks, and then tracks how actuals compare to these benchmarks, and helps strategize decisions based on the implications of such variances.

Marina Alajian (The mom!) provides administrative support, and tax compliance based on decades of successful experience in the insurance industry as a compliance professional. She has been a proud member of the Alajian Group since February 2020. A graduate of the Foreign Languages Department of Yerevan State University in Armenia, she is a strong believer in positive thinking at the workplace, easily adjusts to changes and is always open to new, creative ideas. Outside of work she enjoys traveling, creating her own custom jewelry, helping the community, spending time with her family and friends, as well as her English Cocker Spaniel Jackie.

Belle has been a devoted guard dog for the past 8 years of her life. She’s small, cute, and feisty. Her passion for protection and love for accounting makes her perfect for the team.
